Application manual
For optimum growth, turfgrass needs just four things (in the proper balance) to grow…sunlight, air, water and nutrients.
Reduce any of these, or provide too much of any one, and the grass may die or simply suffer. In the right proportions, the grass will flourish, providing not only beauty to the landscape, but also a clean and safe place to play. It has many benefits to the environment.

Maintenance after sowing
Once established, you should first mow your turf when it has grown between 8-9cm high remembering never to mow more than 4cm at the first time of the leaf.
We also recommend using a fertiliser to keep your lawn green and healthy.

You might be wondering if you can just lay down our grass on top of natural grass. Simply put, the answer is, no. However, just like any shortcut, there are pros and cons.
Guide to prepare garden soil for your lawn, a step-by-step guide.

1. Remove existing vegetation

2. Ground preparation

3. Water

4. Roll out
2. Prepare the soil properly with a tiller. Rake the surface porous. Match and shape the terrain thoroughly. The TURFquick® planting textile or fabric will adapt to it once watered and will follow the shapes you have chosen.
We can recommend that you can add at least 15 cm to 20 cm of black dirt soil which can then be packed with a cylinder roller. Before you roll out Turfquick make sure there is a flat surface. This will prevent the soil from sinking or tilting, for example, in heavy rain or footprints. If you do a good foundation work then it will be a top result.

For fastest establishment, water a little every day until the grass has germinated and started to grow. It takes about three weeks.6. Now the seeds and soil must be kept moist for 2-3 weeks for the seeds to germinate and take root.
Then you should water in the morning and evening. Seeds grass needs moisture to germinate.
The roots die if they dry out after they have started to germinate but they have not had time to get roots.
Expect to water a few times a day for the first 2-3 weeks. Don’t water too much each time, the soil only needs to be moist a couple of centimeters down ( 3-5 cm).
Keep the surface moist until the grass has become about 5 cm high.
Keep the surface moist until the grass has become about 5 cm high.
Try inserting the planting textile about 2-3 centimeters between each piece, so you don’t leave space between them. If necessary, keep the planting textile in place with biodegradable stakes, which can be purchased in our store.8. Mow the first time when the grass has grown 8-9 cm long. Do not cut shorter than 4 cm the first time.
Fertilise!!! apply organic fertiliser 20 days after planting the grass.
Use a pair of scissors to cut and adapt the planting textile to the shape of the ground on which it is being applied. If there are trees, plants, edges, figures and more, just cut the planting textile adapting it to the existing elements.
Please do not cover it with more than 1 cm of soil.
9. Water the Turfquick® planting textile abundantly until it soaks. This is necessary so that it adapts to the terrain and remains subject to it. And that’s it! Continue watering daily ( three times a day), and in a 1 to 2 weeks, you will observe the first outbreaks.
