Easily grown, perennial spice plant
Different kind that gets broad leaves with very nice aroma and mild onion flavor. The leaves are used fresh in salads, for herring, egg dishes, fresh potatoes etc. They can also be frozen for winter use. Do not let the plant flower, it only takes power from other growth. Sowing in October can cause earlier germination in the spring. Thrives on muddy, calcareous soil, preferably clay soil, but unassuming.
So many seeds / pot. Set cool and bright. Keep moist. Transplant in May.
Early, as soon as the soil can be used until August. So many seeds in group (tuva) with 30 cm in between.
